Another picture sent me to a link where I found this next picture. When I saw it I was reminded of my favourite place on Earth. Rough Acres Bible Camp. I have so many beautiful memories of being at camp with my best friends. The picture of the four people watching the sunset reminded me of sitting on the dock watching the sunset with Tara and Tracey. Just being at camp with the 2 of them was/is so much fun. Really I met my two of my best friends at RABC when I was four: Tara and Jesus. We'll say he is the fourth person in the photo, because without Him I don't think our(Tara, Tracey and my) relationship would be as strong as it is even though we have gone years without seeing each other. Whenever we do meet up or talk on the phone or msn it doesn't matter how long it's been or where we have been, it's still us, the three little girls who ran around camp together.
As I was writing this entry a great song came on. I'll share the lyrics with you, but I'm sure most of you know it anyway. It just seemed to fit.
What A Wonderful World
by Louis Armstrong
by Louis Armstrong
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies cry, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
