45 minutes til the Wookies get me...

As I was just informed, "The wookies are going to get you!" I have yet to post today and I have less than an hour left of the second day of NaBloPoMo. I just got home from a somewhat adventurous day, so that will be what I will be posting about. :)

My day started out with a lovely stop at my neighbourly Starbucks where I had a delicious Chai Latte. I have become somewhat of an addict I must confess. I was having a difficult time choosing between the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the Chai Latte, and although I know the PSL is limited to this time of year I NEEDED the chai. Okay okay I know I didn't NEED it, but I sure did want it! So I headed to school with my chai in hand to meet my partner of acting. We ended up chatting with various green room people during the next 3ish hours of going over lines and working on the memorization aspect. Once class started we realized that we should probably work on the blocking since we were going to be meeting with the prof in an hour. Brendon you can skip ahead to the next paragraph now if you like. We hadn't rehearsed the blocking of our scene mainly becuase of what it entails. It (when we perform it in two weeks) will be my first onstage kiss...es. It's a more phsyical scene than I would have liked. I was completely expecting to go into this all weirded out about kissing a boy who isn't my boyfriend. But the weird part is it really wasn't that awkward. Don't get me wrong..it was weird just going "okay you ready" "I guess" "ok..." and then kiss him. But I think with the idea and attitude that this is Mike and Mary kissing not Aaron and Robyn kissing it made it a lot easier. And knowing that Aaron is gay I think helped out too. So yeah that was rehearsal.

After class I had a lovely dinner with my friend Heather..but since "No One Cares What [I] Ate for [Dinner]" I will refrain from writing about it. I will say it was good conversation.

This evening, and my reason for being a late writer, Pam and I went to the play that the Actors Workshop Theatre put on at TRU tonight. Some of my friends were in it, and I get in free so of course I had to go. It was Father's Day by Oliver Hailey. It was pretty funny, and Carly did an amazing job. So did everyone else, but I particularily enjoyed Carly. She portrayed her character so well; she can be such an angry person.

Well I think I am pretty much done for tonight. I will say that I am out of town the next two weekends and not entirely sure if I will have acess to a computer. But if I don't I will make a point of writing something down and then posting it. Or if I remember, I'll do a podcast...hmm that sounds very interesting....

Poor Brendon. I bet morbid curiousity will make him read it!
You should totally podcast. It'd be sweet. :-)

Aw, congratulations on your first onstage kiss(es). I was actually just talking to a friend this morning about how I'm too scared partly for that reason to get into acting even though it's a huge dream of mine. Hopefully there'll be acting in Heaven :)
